Ok, we’re going to do a short activity. Set a timer for 10 minutes. Write down everything on your mind—no rules, no filters. Just get it out. Big things, small things, random things. “Call Mom.” “Fix the fence.” “What’s for dinner tomorrow?” “What am I doing with my life?” Again, this isn’t about being productive. It’s about giving your brain a break. You might be surprised how calming it is just to see what you’ve been carrying. Look back at your list. Is it as overwhelming as it felt in your head?
