Module 6: The Lifestyle ResetvideoNaN min
Module Introduction
In this module, we’ll explore how your everyday habits directly influence your hormonal health and overall wellbeing, and how Creating daily rhythms can support balance and vitality.
Key Takeaway
Lasting hormonal balance isn’t just about what you eat — it’s about how you live. Nourishment comes from rhythm, rest, light, movement, and boundaries as much as it does from food. When you begin to design your days with your well-being in mind, your hormones, nervous system, and energy naturally return to harmony.

Welcome to Module 5 — the Lifestyle Reset: Creating Simple Shifts to Bring Hormones Back into Harmony.
In the previous module, we talked about nutrition. It was quite a hefty one! I hope you’ve started implementing some of the principles we covered and are noticing shifts in your energy — perhaps more stable energy throughout the day, fewer sugar cravings after reintroducing nourishing carbohydrates, or the power of having breakfast in the morning.
Now, in this module, we’re going to talk about lifestyle. Because while nutrition is key — and I hope I emphasized how important it is for women to be truly nourished to support hormonal health and a calm nervous system — the way we live our lives also has a huge impact on our physiology.
When I first started as a nutritionist, I was hyper-fixated on food. It was all about food, food, food. And while food is essential, the longer I’ve worked with women, the more I’ve seen that even when diet is dialed in, if someone is still living in chaos, constantly stressed, or in an unsupportive environment, true hormonal balance remains out of reach.
Our environment dictates our hormones. Hormones are the result of life’s processes — not the cause — but when they’re imbalanced, they can create a feedback loop that affects every area of life.
We can’t improve hormonal health if we’re still living in the same environment and patterns that brought us to imbalance in the first place.
So, in this Lifestyle module, I want to share simple lifestyle shifts you can put into practice. They’re not complicated. In fact, they’re beautifully simple — but they do require a mindset shift. This is about changing perspective and deciding to prioritize yourself and your well-being at this stage of life.
For many women in their 40s and 50s, we’ve spent decades prioritizing everything else — careers, partners, family, children — often at the expense of ourselves. It’s part of our nature to care for others. But by this stage, many of us are running on empty.
This is your time to shift that. I want you to make a commitment, as you move through this module, to prioritize yourself. That doesn’t mean becoming selfish or neglecting others — it means committing to simple, nourishing habits that honor your health and energy.
It can be as easy as announcing to your family, “This is what I’m doing for myself.” When I told mine, “I’m going for a morning walk,” everyone accepted it — it simply became part of the rhythm.
These small acts of self-prioritization can create profound shifts. You’ll notice the difference quickly.
In this module, we’ll explore:
Setting boundaries
Light exposure
Exercise
The importance of sleep
Each section will include simple, practical steps you can start right away, along with a practical action summary at the end.
So, if you’re ready — grab a cup of tea, and let’s get started.
Reflection
Where in your daily life are you still living in ways that drain you rather than support you?
What one simple shift — a boundary, a walk, a pause, or an earlier bedtime — could help you begin reclaiming your energy this week?
