For the practical action in this section, I’d like you to evaluate your toxic load. What are you using on a daily basis that could be swapped for a more natural alternative? Again, this is not about perfection. It’s not about throwing everything away and starting from scratch. The key is awareness. Look at what you use every day — your skincare, cleaning products, laundry detergent, water bottles, or food containers — and when one runs out, replace it with something cleaner and more natural. I’ll share some of my favorite brands in the resources section. There’s also a great website called EWG Skin Deep, which is run by the Environmental Working Group. It’s a database of personal care and household products where you can search by brand or product name and see what ingredients they contain, including which ones are potential endocrine disruptors or common allergens. It’s a great starting point when you’re choosing what to swap out. Remember, this is not about being perfect or living in fear of chemicals. We cannot avoid all toxins in modern life — that’s impossible. The goal is simply to become more aware of the products you use most often and find realistic, gentle swaps that reduce your daily exposure.
