Daily Rhythm or Dinacharya
Key Takeaway
Wellbeing is built through simple, intentional routines. Choosing one to three meaningful practices and placing them thoughtfully into your morning and evening creates a sustainable rhythm that supports your values and daily life.
Transcript
What I highly recommend is that you pause and reflect on what feels most important for you right now. Choose one, two, or at most three practices that truly matter to you.
Once you’ve identified those, create a simple foundation by deciding when you’d like to practice them. From there, you can begin to design your day accordingly.
We’ve shared some examples of how a daily routine might look. You can adapt these to fit your own life.
For example, in the morning you might wake up, brush your teeth, practice tongue scraping, do a short self-massage, some gentle movement or exercise, and then take a shower. This creates a supportive and nourishing start to the day.
In the evening, if it feels right, you might include something grounding like foot massage. In this way, you build a small routine in the morning and a small routine in the evening.
During the daytime, allow yourself to move through your day in a way that aligns with your values and what feels meaningful to you. Let your daily rhythm support the life you want to live.
That’s the essence of it.
Reflection
Pause and reflect: which one to three practices feel most important for you right now? When in your day could they fit most naturally — morning or evening — so they support your life rather than add pressure?
