Today we turn our focus to the big picture. We all carry some vision - it may be super clear, or just an idea of sorts - of the life we want to live. The clearer we are about that vision, the easier it becomes to shape our days in a way that supports it. Here are a few questions to help think about this: •What kind of professional or creative life do I want? •What kind of personal life—relationships, environment, pace—do I envision? •If I zoomed out and saw my life from above, what would I hope to see? Take some time to write freely what thoughts come to mind when you read those questions, or just sit quietly and imagine the answers for a few moments. If you feel stuck, here are a few broad visions people hold (you might mix and match or add your own): •I want to do work that feels meaningful and helps others. •I want to be a present, grounded parent. •I want to be free to explore the world as a digital nomad. •I want to live simply, close to nature. •I want a life centered around faith, ritual, or spiritual growth. •I want to build financial independence and own my time. •I want to be part of a vibrant, creative community. This list isn’t exhaustive of course—it’s just to spark ideas.
