Perspective Shift on Women's Ageing

Key Takeaway

Longevity is shaped through daily choices that support our biology as women, our rhythms, and our capacity to recover. Especially for women, longevity is not about doing more. It's about doing what is appropriate, sustainable, and aligned with our bodies and how they actually work.

Transcript

Hi again. So one more thing before I start in this talk. I'm not here to give you another list of things to do. And as you just heard from Priya. Priya, you find a lot of practical things and very valuable things, on the platform, on Aura. And most of you already know all the drills, the protocols, the longevity hacks. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them. They're all fantastic. What I want to do instead today is create context and to explore what truly matters for us as women and how to be intelligent and intentional about using all these tools and in a way that actually support female biology over time. When you look, I don't know why you guys are here and what longevity means to you, but longevity is everywhere now. We all feel it. We see it on social media, in podcasts, in supplements, in clinics, in the language of biohacking and optimization. And every there, there seems to be something new promising. A longer life, better performance, or a younger body. It's, it's really, even for me as a practitioner, sometimes it feels overwhelming. But modern longevity is not simply about living longer. It's about extending health span. The years of life lived with vitality, mental clarity, emotional resilience and physical independence. It's about being well by the age, not just adding years at any cost. And that's why I really, really love the, longevity scene. Let me give you an example. My daughter, she's going on 22, she studies medicine and she had a placement in a geriatric kind of section of a clinic for a few weeks. At the end she called me. She was beside herself and she Was like, I don't want to live, for more than up to the age of 75 and not more. Because what she's seen is not very, uplifting. And when we look around people in their 80s nowadays, of course they live longer. But this is not what we would like to be dependent on medication and so on and so forth. And this is like what longevity means to me, to change this. But in the midst of constant optimization, tracking, and biohacking, we risk losing sight of something essential. Longevity is not built through extremes. It is shaped through daily choices that support our biology as women, our rhythms, and our capacity to recover. Especially for women, longevity is not about doing more. It's about doing what is appropriate, sustainable, and aligned with our bodies and how they actually work.
