Module 7: Clearing the CluttervideoNaN min

Module Introduction

In this module, we’ll explore how to clear the clutter — supporting your body’s natural detoxification systems so your hormones can function optimally. You’ll discover why gut health and liver support are key for hormone clearance and balance, and how endocrine disruptors in your environment can interfere with this process. We’ll cover practical, simple ways to reduce your toxic load, nourish your detox organs, and create space for your body to rebalance naturally.

Key Takeaway

Clearing the clutter means supporting the body’s natural detox pathways — gut, liver, and daily choices — so hormones can find their balance. Small, consistent shifts in digestion, liver support, and lowering everyday endocrine disruptors create a safer internal “signal” for calm, repair, and hormonal harmony.

Transcript

Welcome to module six, Clearing the clutter. We're nearly towards the end of this program. I'm hoping that at this point you have implemented some, you know, nutritional changes that you're really focusing on nourishment and that you know, you started thinking about what in your day to day life, the way that you're living your life, maybe sending that message of alert and danger to the body. So how can we restore that message of safety but also by making some simple lifestyle shifts as we discussed in the previous module, in this module here we are going to be talking about supporting our detoxification processes which are so important for hormonal health, and balance. So we talked about in module three about, you know, how did we get here? One of a couple of the factors that negatively impact hormonal balance and that can shift that balance between estrogen and progesterone, is with our, the gut is not working properly for example, or if our liver is sluggish and also if we are, you know, in a modern environment that we are kind of constantly being bombarded with these endocrine disrupting chemicals in our environment that are further impacting our, you know, our estrogen, progesterone balance. So we mentioned, we kind of mentioned them in that third module and I said I was going to go into a little bit more detail. So further on here we are. So this is it. We're going to be talking about the importance of gut health when it comes to hormone imbalance, the importance of you know, supporting our liver and loving our liver during, during this time and then looking at what endocrine disruptors are, where they can be found and how we can minimize our exposure. Now it's not going to be, it's going to be impossible to avoid them altogether and I don't want this to become another stressor in your life, but being aware, again creating awareness around this topic and just being conscious of making the right choices in things that you are exposing yourself to on an everyday basis, on a day to day basis versus the occasional exposure which I don't think we need to really worry about. That's what I want to kind of focus on in this module. So if you're ready, let's get started.

Reflection

Where does “clutter” most show up for you — in your gut habits, liver-supporting routines, or daily exposures (home, food, products)? Name one low-stress change you can practice this week (e.g., a fiber-rich meal, gentle bitters before dinner, swapping one product for a cleaner option). How will you know it’s helping (sleep, skin, mood, digestion)?
