How to practise it Pick a few people to do this with (or as many as you like). Send a message to each one telling them the three (or more) qualities you value most about them. It honestly feels great. Remember what I shared about the ripple effects of gratitude and kindness? Well this falls into this bracket too... sharing what you value about others with them, is cultivating positive feelings (like/love/appreciation) within you, whilst hugely enhancing how the recipient feels. In turn, knowing that it will have this positive impact on them will likely lead to you feeling even better about this whole exercise. Tips for practising and personalisation. - This might feel a bit ‘out of your comfort zone’ but I find if you tell people it’s an exercise you’re doing as part of a happiness and wellbeing challenge you’re involved in, you can get away with anything 😊 - You could extend it further by adding in examples or being specific about the way in which their positive qualities or support to you make a difference to you.
