Hi, and welcome to The Feminine Code. For those of you who don’t know me, I'm Courtney. I’ve been an Ayurvedic practitioner for over 15 years, specializing in women’s health. And more recently, I’ve been working with somatics and the nervous system. So, I created this course because in all the years of working with women, I’ve noticed some very specific patterns, and those patterns are rooted in deep levels of stress that women are collectively experiencing. So, it was important for me to look at individually what’s going on with women, but I also really needed to explore what is happening collectively that so many women are experiencing so many of the same things, and experiencing such a deep level of stress that their nervous systems are very dysregulated, and it’s contributing to hormone imbalance and other imbalances in the body. And one of the things that I realized and what Ayurveda teaches us is that the female body is deeply rhythmic. All of us have bodies that are a reflection of nature, and we support our healing by living in rhythm with the cycles of nature. But the female body in particular is deeply rhythmic, and our modern world is largely designed around the needs of the hormonally male body. And what that leads to is women suppressing our rhythms and disconnecting from our rhythms, and really forgetting this wisdom that our ancestors understood about how to support a hormonally female body, and how to live in rhythm with the cycles of nature, and that this does not make us weak or vulnerable. This is actually how we access our vitality and our power, and this incredible creative potential that we have. And so that is what I really wanted to share with you in this course, to teach you these four foundational female rhythms — not just from an intellectual level, but how to really feel these on a cellular level, how to live every day in a way that supports these four foundational female body rhythms, and how to access deep vitality and healing from understanding and really embracing and loving the nature of your rhythmic body. So, um, the other thing I wanted to say is this is not about making drastic change quickly. This is really about shifting your perspective on how you experience your body, and making small, gradual change over time as your nervous system can handle it. So I wrote you a welcome letter below. I hope you’ll read that. And if you’re ready, let’s get started.
