Dr Maitri Nagar

Hormonal imbalance — menstrual irregularity, PCOS, perimenopause, menopause

About Me

Dr. Maitri Nagar is a qualified Ayurvedic Physician (BAMS with Distinction, Gujarat Ayurved University) with over fifteen years of sustained clinical practice across India, Singapore, the USA, Australia, Germany, Canada, the UK, and Sri Lanka. She is the founder of Savya Sachi Ayurveda, a consultation-based practice offering integrative Ayurvedic medicine to individuals and families — both in-person in Singapore and online internationally. Dr. Maitri's clinical training is unusually broad. Her foundation in classical Ayurvedic medicine encompasses in-depth study of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and therapeutic practices including Panchakarma, dietary medicine, and yoga therapeutics. This is complemented by a Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education (DNHE, IGNOU), a 300-hour Yoga Instructor Certification (YIC, SVYASA), and advanced certification in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania — a combination that allows her to work across the biological, nutritional, somatic, and psychological dimensions of health with genuine clinical depth. Her practice has naturally evolved to focus on women's health, paediatric care, autoimmune and lifestyle-related conditions, and chronic pain — populations for whom a systems-based, individualised approach makes the greatest clinical difference. Dr. Maitri does not apply protocols. She observes patterns — across constitution, history, environment, and lifestyle — and builds recommendations that reflect the whole person, not isolated symptoms. Consultations may include Ayurvedic medicines and formulations, Panchakarma therapies, individualised dietary guidance, therapeutic yoga protocols, and nutrition-informed support. These are selected thoughtfully and contextually, not routinely applied. Beyond individual consultations, Dr. Maitri teaches and facilitates workshops for individuals, educational institutions, and corporate organisations seeking to move from reactive care to proactive, sustainable wellbeing. Her work in institutional wellness is grounded in evidence-based resilience frameworks that draw on both Positive Psychology and Ayurvedic daily-life principles. Ayurveda is not a professional framework for Dr. Maitri — it is the lens through which she has understood health since childhood, refined through fifteen years of clinical discipline across diverse populations. Her approach is precise, disciplined, and continuously evolving.
