Lau Ee Wen is a Singapore MOH-registered TCM Physician and Head of Women & Fertility at EMW Physiotherapy & TCM — one of Singapore's leading integrative TCM clinics specialising in fertility and gut health. Ee Wen holds a rare combination of credentials: a Master's Degree in Integrated Clinical Medicine with specialisation in TCM Gynaecology from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM), a Bachelor of Medicine in TCM (BUCM), and a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). This dual foundation in classical Chinese medicine and Western biomedical science allows her to integrate both frameworks with genuine depth — not as a marketing proposition, but as a genuine clinical methodology. Her postgraduate training was conducted at Dongzhimen Hospital under Professor Wang BiQin, Chief Physician of the Department of Gynaecology — a direct inheritor of the lineage of Professor Guo ZhiQiang, one of China's most recognised experts in TCM gynaecology. This mentorship shaped Ee Wen's clinical precision and her sophisticated understanding of the interplay between TCM cycle-based diagnosis and modern reproductive medicine.
